Horizon 20:20, Hampshire Cultural Trust 2015/16

During 2015 I facilitated arts workshops for the Hampshire Cultural Trust project: Horizon 20:20. This is an ambitious arts-intervention programme, using regular engaging arts and cultural activity to achieve positive social outcomes for vulnerable young people who have been excluded from mainstream school, or cannot cope in a mainstream learning environment, for a variety of reasons.

I ran workshops at Andover Education Centre and The Bridge Education Centre in Eastleigh exploring printing onto glass and ways of using colour in fused glass, creating tiles and bowls and Christmas decorations!

The young people designed and made glass bowls thinking about texture, colour and the things we talked about in the Paul Klee workshop.
